Still in use, a very reliable little gem.

This camera has treated me so well over the last two years - colours come out great on long exposures at night, it's easy to use all the great controls and options, it didn't break after being dropped about 6 feet onto concrete, survived a little dust storm in Morocco...
I'm buying a Canon 5D in a week but the Oly 5060 will always be my first love. (sigh)

Very reliable! Though I've recently purchased a Nikon digital SLR, I still rely on my Olympus for macro shots, eBay listing photos, and family outings. It's extremely durable as well...My C-5060 took a 5-foot fall onto concrete there isn't a single mark or dent on the camera.

Yes, it takes great pictures, it 's a confusing camera to use though with "too many" features. I miss my OM1 simplicity.
Guest 23-Dec-2004 03:51
The 5060's picture seem so good to me. Just wonder how's the performance in higher ISO, in terms of picture quality...

I have been so satisfied with my C-5060. Even in the event I purchase a DSLR in the future, my C-5060 will be there as well...
