Like its flexible predecessor, this beautiful new edition is both lightweight and compact. It has a high-speed AF and a closest focussing distance of just 50cm from wide-angle right up to telephoto. The latest addition to the impressive M.ZUIKO Micro Four Thirds lens family is available in black from late February for €649 (resp. the equivalent in other currencies).

Nevertheless, it’s perfect for Olympus’ OM-D and PEN ranges of powerful, iconically designed interchangeable-lens cameras. Whereas comparable D-SLR lenses tip the scales at more than half a kilo, this handsome 14-150mm all-rounder weighs just 285 grams. What’s more, its new weatherproof casing means you can keep going when conditions turn bad.
Built for beauty
With a 10.7x zoom ratio and edge-to-edge clarity from wide-angle through to telephoto, the imaging power of the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-150mm 1:4.0-5.6 II matches its versatility every step of the way. Selected lens components come with a protective layer of Olympus’ ZERO (ZUIKO Extra-low Reflection Optical) coating that is designed to eliminate ghosting and flaring. For trouble-free video recording, the trademark MSC focussing mechanism is as silent as ever. So the potential for first-class precision and creativity is built-in. The rest is up to the eye, and energy, of its owner.
The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-150mm 1:4.0-5.6 II telephoto lens is 83mm long and 63.5mm in diameter. It comes supplied with a lens hood as well as front and rear lens caps.By registering their lens at MyOlympus, owners can extend their statutory warranty for free by six months.
